Are there restrictions on what I can do with my site? We're pretty liberal here at AllSolutions.NET, but we certainly can't allow anything illegal. And no email spamming or any password or warez sites. For more info see our Terms and Conditions. How do I put files on my site? Use an FTP program to upload files to your site. More info on uploading is available on our support page. What if I want to upgrade to a more advanced AllSolutions.NET service? Simply send us an email letting us know which service you would like to subsribe to. Changes can be made in a matter of hours. After you have been a customer for 3 months there is no additional set-up charge to upgrade your account to the next level of service, (excluding the high volume accounts). What if I find I need a less expensive account? There are no set-up charges involved in subscribing to a lower level of service. What if I need more disk space? We set up our accounts to provide more than enough disk space for the bandwidth allowed. But if you need more disk space, let us know, and we'll make sure you have what you need. Is it difficult to establish multiple email addresses for my domain? They are already included. Let's say you want an address of 'sales@yourdomain.com'. Just give that address out, it's already usable. Every conceivable address for your domain (in this example, 'yourdomain.com') will go to your POP account or forwarded to the account you have chosen. All mail delivered to your domain will go to you. How do I get my email? You need an email client (program) such as Eudora or Netscape or Microsoft Mail. Of course, you'll need to tell the program where your mail is. Assuming your domain is www.yourdomain.com, you should use the following server parameters: POP Server: yourdomain.com You will need to enter your user name and password (these are the same as the username and password you use to upload web pages). Can I forward my email to another email address so I can get all my mail in one place? Yes. You just have to put a text file named '.forward' in your main directory that you see when you log in by FTP. In this text file all you need to have is the email address that you want your email forwarded to. Don't forget the 'dot' at the beginning of the file name. I get too much spam. Can you help me cut down on spam? Yes. We have web page devoted to just that. Tips on how to reduce spam. Does AllSolutions.NET register my domain name, or should I? We will be happy to complete the registration process for you, based on the information you provide on the online signup form. AllSolutions.NET will normally be the technical contact, and you can choose the administrative and billing contacts, if you do it yourself. The billing contact should be you or the person responsible for payables in your organization. Please fill out all information completely when you sign up. If you don't want to do it yourself, we can do it for you and add $30 to your charges (for 2 years). It can be slightly less if you do it yourself.
